If you are attacked by an animal, you may be able to claim compensation for any injuries received if the owner of the animal ought to have known the attack could occur.
Determining whether or not the animal's owner knew of the possibility will determine any claim you may have.
For example, if you are attacked by a dog that has previously attacked someone, then you may be able to make a claim, however if the dog has never previously displayed the tendency to attack people then you may not be able to make a claim.
