UK Drug Laws

Let's cut to the chase, if you're going to do drugs, you're going to do them and there's probably not much we can do to convince you otherwise. Right?

Even if they are dangerous, or if they cause huge health risks, screw up your friendships, working relationships and family life, eat into your savings and put you in debt, cause you to look and feel like a dog's breakfast, give you the most depressing comedowns, make it difficult to have sex, cause you to babble on like a retarded buffoon, get you into trouble at work or school and possibly kill you, don't let that stop you.

And consider that if you get caught here is a list of the maximum penalties under British law for the possession and supply of drugs.

For Class A's, (Cocaine, Ecstasy, Hallucinogens such as LSD, and Heroin) having a small amount for personal use could still earn you 7 years in the slammer, a whopping great fine or both. Supplying it to your mates or other people will get you locked up for life and/or a fine.

For Class B's (Amphetamines) you could get 5 years in the joint (and/or a fine) for possession, while supplying may net you up to 14 years in jail (and/or a fine).

For Class C's (Cannabis, some prescribed medications), you could find yourself in prison for 2 years (and/or a fine) for possession, while supplying is worth 5 years in jail. Be forewarned, though. The law is still quite murky around Cannabis and you can get nailed for longer, so don't go turning yourself into Bob Marley, mon.

It's your life, but why would you want to walk through it in a haze or a comedown?
