Level of Compensation

The compensatory award, if any, is calculated based on any earnings you may have lost because of your dismissal. This can include your normal pay, any fringe benefits, bonuses and overtime that you may have earned had you remained employed.

If you have received any other income, for example from another job or from a jobseeker's allowance, between the time you were dismissed and any compensation was awarded, this value will be deducted from the compensation you receive.
