Stress is a common problem when flying, which is unsurprising given the physical and psychological strain of flying. A typical journey by plane may involve rushing through traffic to get to the airport on time, finding a parking space, queuing at check-in, delays, cramped conditions, lack of sleep, oxygen deficiency and dehydration.
Many factors can contribute to a stressful flight. For some people, this can lead to air rage as a number of these factors overpower them, causing them to react aggressively.
Those with a fear of flying will certainly experience further anxiety, given the psychological barriers they will have to face.
