Home and Buildings Insurance

home and buildings insurance

There are two types of household insurance policies. The first, and most important, is buildings insurance, which protects you against damage to the structure of your home, along with its permanent fixtures and fittings.

The second policy is home contents insurance, which protects you against loss or damage of your possessions; in particular those that can be removed and taken whenever you move house.

Both policies cover you against risks such as fire, theft, storm, flood and subsidence, as well as providing essential cover for your legal liabilities as a homeowner and occupier.
