If you want a portable computer so that you can work between home and the office, whether travelling by train or aircraft, then you need to consider the following:
- size and weight,
- what connection ports are available to you (can it be fitted with a car/aircraft adapter?),
- processor and speed (can it run any in house office software your company uses?),
- battery life (make sure it won't run out on long journeys)
- screen/keyboard/pointer (you need to be comfortable with tthese fatures, especially if you intend to use your laptop frequently).
