Fifth Generation Handheld Consoles

The 5th generation of handheld video game consoles began in 1995, with the release of the Nintendo Virtual Boy, the first portable gaming system to offer 3D graphics. This was followed in 1997 by the game.com, which offered users a combined games and PDA system, then by the Neo Geo Pocket and the highly successful Nintendo Game Boy Color.
