2. Ridgeview (Sussex)
Produces high quality sparkling wine from traditional Champagne varieties and methods. They have won many awards, beating competition from Grande Marque Champagnes. Their Bloomsbury Sparkling Wine is produced from 59% Chardonnay, 27% Pinot Noir and14% Pinot Meunier grape varieties.

Brand name of the UK's largest producer, New Wave Wines, producing world class wines. In 2004, they won a Gold Medal at the International Wine Challenge with their Pinot Reserve 1999. The UK's leading organic producer, making fresh, bright full-flavoured dry and sparkling whites. Their flagship wine is a dry white made from Horsmonden grapes - a slightly aromatic dry white that goes well with food -even quite spicy food.
5. Sharpham Wines (South Devon)
Offering stylish wines with intense fruit flavours and aromas, and employing traditional and new world techniques. Gold medal winners include Sharpham Beenleigh Red (70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot) and Sharpham Pinot Noir. Their white wines are produced mainly using the Madeleine Angevine grape.
