These red and rosé wines vary from young, bright, fresh and fruity to the more complex wines of great Gran Reservas. They are usually entirely Tempranillo, aged partly in new oak, with vanilla and spice additions to the bright, blackcurrant fruit. The best wines improve for up to ten years, and quality is improving so much that this figure may well soon double.
Although quality is high, prices are generally a bit steeper than this quality might justify.
