Polar Colas

A Polar Cola is a cocktail consisting of a small, very cold bottle of cola (185-200 ml), liquor and lemon juice. A small amount of cola is poured out of the bottle and the other ingredients are poured in through a funnel. A rubber bung or bar towel is then placed over the top of the bottle, and the contents briefly inverted to mix them together. A straw is placed into the bottle, which is then placed into an ice-filled pint glass or tankard to keep it and its contents cold.
