Rounded Cables
Many computer equipment manufacturers are now starting to make rounded or coloured cables available for use inside the case. With the latest trend in case modification being to cut holes in the case and install transparent windows, the use of coloured and rounded cables has increased in popularity. Rounded cables also make lighter work of fitting new devices as the cables are easier to bend.
Cathode Lighting
A number of manufacturers now make low-voltage cathode ray tubes and flexible lighting systems that can be powered by the 12 volt power supply inside a computer case. These are used to light case interiors, showing off the case modifications.
