Structural features: Part of an international network with links in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Russia, Japan and USA.

Site: Single 26-acre campus in the heart of Regent's Park, shared with a number of other institutions.

How to get there: 5 minutes' walk from Baker Street underground and buses.

Academic features: Integrated language and business degree course, including study abroad and work experience.

Special features: January and September start dates. 36 weeks in-company training in at least 3 countries and 5 companies. 1-year foundation year before degree course for those who need it.

Awarding body: Open University.

Main undergraduate award: BA.

Length of courses: 3h years.

Library & information services: 36.000 volumes, 500 periodicals including daily newspapers from UK and overseas; 30 online catalogues with CD-Rom access: 300 academic videos, 120 study places.

Specialist collections: Business and Institute of Linguists libraries. Annual expenditure on information provision, £69 per (FTE) student. Separate IT service; access 15 hours/day, staffed helpdesk all opening hours. Ratio 1:6 workstations to students, 250 points with access to library and internet (IBM and Apple computers). Induction to library and information services for new students and 4-6 hours/week in first year; instruction in major IT applications.

Study abroad: All students spend up to two 6-month periods in two different countries.
