Level 3

This tier of cover gives an extra level of comfort for drivers who may be concerned about the possibility of their car breaking down whilst at their home. Although some elements of the third level of breakdown cover will vary slightly from company to company, in general, they all provide at least the following assistance:

Roadside

Assistance if you have broken down more a specified distance from your home (usually about quarter of a mile)
If your car can't be fixed by the roadside, you and your car will be taken to the nearest garage or an alternative local destination of your choice, provided this is no further.

Rescue or Relay Cover

If a local repair cannot be arranged following a breakdown at the roadside, you, your car, and up to 8 other passengers will be transported home or to any mainland UK destination of your choice.

Home Start

Breakdown assistance if you break down at home, or within quarter of a mile of it. If you car cannot be fixed promptly, you and your car will be taken to the nearest garage or another local destination, provided this is no further.
