Win

This is a straightforward bet requiring you to nominate the winning greyhound; simply select a trap you think will win the race. To make a bet, ask for the stake amount, win, trap number. For example "£2 - Win - Trap 4".

Place

This is one of the simplest bet of all, in which you nominate any greyhound that you think will finish either first or second. To make a bet, ask for the stake amount, place, trap number. For example "£2 - Place - Trap 3".

Each Way

A combination of two bets - half your stake will go on a win bet, the other half on a place bet. If your dog wins, you receive one win dividend plus one place dividend. If your dog comes second you will receive the place dividend only. To make a bet, ask for the stake amount, each way, trap number. For example "£2 - Each Way - Trap 6". Remember though, that a £2 each way bet equates to a £4 investment, as it is the equivalent of two bets.

Forecast

Select the two traps you think will finish first and second in correct order. To make a bet, ask for the stake amount, forecast, trap numbers in order. For example "£1 - Forecast - Traps 3 and 1". A £1 stake will require a £2 investment (two bets).

Reverse Forecast

This covers two selections, which must finish first and second in EITHER order. To make a bet, ask for the stake amount, reverse forecast, trap numbers. For example "£2 - Reverse Forecast - Traps 1 and 3". A £2 stake will require a £4 investment (two bets).

Forecast Combination

A bet covering 3 selections, of which any 2 must finish first and second - in ANY order. To make a bet, ask for the stake amount, forecast combination, trap numbers. For example "£1 'Forecast Combination' Traps 1, 3 and 6". A £1 stake will require a £6 investment (six bets).

Trifecta (Tricast)

Select three traps to finish first, second and third in correct order. To make a bet, ask for the stake amount, trifecta, trap numbers in order. For example "£1 - Trifecta - Traps 2, 5 and 1". A £1 stake will require a £3 investment (three bets).

Trifecta (Tricast) Combination

This is a bet covering 3 selections, to finish first, second and third, in ANY order. To make a bet, ask for the stake amount, trifecta combination, trap numbers. For example "£1 - Trifecta Combination - Traps 1, 2 and 5". A £1 stake will require a £6 investment (six bets).
