If you have lost or damaged your car's new style MOT certificate (A4 size), you can obtain a duplicate from any MOT testing station. The maximum fee for a duplicate certificate for a car is £10.00.
If you need to replace an old style A5 certificate, you must apply to the MOT test station that originally tested the vehicle. If this has since closed down, you can contact your local Vehicle and Operator Services Agency for help. However, if you can't remember where your car was tested originally, you will not be able obtain a duplicate certificate, and you will need to have your car tested again.
