Indian Breads

Indian breads (known collectively as roti) are one of the major items in the daily menu of Indian cuisine. Most are made using wheat flour and are cooked on a flat pan or griddle - apart from than naans, which are cooked on the side of a tandoor oven, and poppadoms, which are prepared using chickpea flour and then deep-fried.
