Preparing Lentils

  1. Sort dried lentils by spreading them in a single layer on a tray. This will make it easier to spot and discard the bad lentils.
  2. Look for discoloured and mis-shapen seeds and remove any debris.
  3. Place the remaining lentils into a colander and rinse thoroughly with cold water.
  4. Once sorted and rinsed, they are ready to be cooked
