Cooking Corn on the Cob

Strip away the green packaging and the silky threads, then steam, or plunge into briskly boiling water. Avoid using salted water, as this will toughen the corn. However, a little sugar may be added for extra sweetness. Cook for about 15 minutes and serve with plenty of butter, sea salt and freshly ground pepper.

To oven cook, brush with butter, and bake in foil for 30 minutes.
