The amount of web space, or disk space, is one of the most important considerations when choosing a host. Your requirements will vary depending on what you plan to do with the site. Standard HTML pages and web optimised graphics don't take up a lot of space, however if you plan to run a photo gallery with high resolution images, or offer mp3s or videos for download, you will want to make sure you have plenty of web space.
Also consider how your website is going to grow in the future, you don't want to suddenly discover your current host is going to charge a huge amount for additional space as your site expands.
