Forks

Forks can be an immensely useful utensil for the cook, and are available in metal and wooden versions, each suitable for a particular range of tasks.

Metal Forks

A strong, long-tined metal fork is essential for holding meat firmly whilst it is being carved. It may also be used for turning meat joints during cooking or removing roasts from their tin.

Wooden Forks

A large wooden fork is an excellent tool for briskly stirring scrambled eggs or for gently swirling spaghetti whilst it cooks in the pot. It may also be used to stir in liquid to pastry or dough mixtures.
