Apple Corer
Makes the preparation of apples quick and easy; simply place the top of the tool over the stem of the apple, and then push firmly through to the base. The apple core is retained in the centre of the tool when it is withdrawn from the fruit. The only drawback is that the apple must have a straight core of a size to fit the corer. Apple corers may also be used to make holes through other relatively soft items. When chooseing a corer, try to find one with a sharp bottom edge.
Cherry or Olive Stoner
Used to remove the stones from cherries and olives; essential if you want stoneless olives for cooking or make a lot of cherry jam. Choose a sturdy stainless-steel stoner; this will complete the task quick and efficiently.
