Higher education courses can enhance your chances of getting the career you want and may boost your future earnings considerably. However, enrolling in a higher education course does not necessarily mean aiming for an honours degree - you could also go for a Higher National Diploma (HND), Foundation degree or Diploma of Higher Education (DipHE). You could even just register to take one or two modules to enable you to earn credits towards an HE qualification in the future.
