GCSE Short Courses

GCSEs are available in a Short Course version, covering fewer topics and designed to take only half the study time of a full GCSE. Courses include:

• art and design
• business studies
• citizenship studies
• design and technology
• electronics
• geography
• history
• information and communication
• technology
• modern foreign languages
• music
• physical education
• religious studies
• Welsh as a second language.

A GCSE Short Course counts as half a GCSE and may be taught over one or two years.
