Level 1 and 2 Qualifications

Level 1 qualifications recognise basic understanding and skills, and the ability to apply learning (with guidance) to everyday situations. Qualifications include:

  • GCSE grades D-G
  • OCR Level 1 Nationals
  • NVQ Level 1
  • BTEC Introductory
  • Pre-Apprenticeships

Level 2 qualifications recognise the ability to gain a good understanding and knowledge of a subject area and to apply learning to a varied range of tasks with some guidance or supervision. Qualifications include:

  • GCSE grades A*-C
  • OCR Level 2 Nationals
  • NVQ Level 2
  • BTEC First
  • Apprenticeships
