Direct Applications

If you are applying for a part-time, flexible learning or postgraduate course, you will normally need to apply directly to the university or college running the course, rather than through UCAS.

Although the application form may be very similar to the UCAS form, the deadline for submissions may be different, so it's essential to check the deadline date with the course provider.

There are also separate admissions services for students in the following careers:

Nurses and Midwives

Students wishing to enrol on a full-length, diploma-level, pre-registration nursing and midwifery programmes at universities in England must apply through the Nursing and Midwifery Admissions Service (NMAS).

Postgraduate Teachers

Graduates wishing to gain a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) should apply for their course through the Graduate Teacher Training Registry (GTTR).
