Attending an HE fair or convention is a great way to gather information about a range of different universities and colleges. Each institution will have an exhibition stand where you can pick up a prospectus and have any questions answered - everything from entry requirements to accommodation costs. In addition to the exhibition stands, there may be seminars on topics such as careers guidance, gap years, the application process and student finance.
Higher education fairs are held in cities across England, Wales and Northern Ireland from March to July and between August and October in Scotland. Whilst admission is free, you may need to book a place in advance.
