Why Study at College or University?

Anyone, regardless of their age and background, can enrol on a higher education (HE) course, and those that do, do so for a variety of different reasons. Many students go on to university or college straight after school to continue their education, some choose HE so that they can change or further their career, whilst others enrol simply for the chance to study something they enjoy.

Obtaining a higher education award can lead to increased earning potential, greater opportunities and a more rewarding career. Attending university or college also enables students to experience a rich social and cultural scene and meet a variety of people of all ages, nationalities and social backgrounds, all whilst studying something they love.

Higher education is about furthering your education, learning new things, being in charge of your choices and getting to where you want to be in the future - whatever age you are or whatever stage you're at.
