Key Stage 3

When your child starts Year 7 at secondary school (generally at age 11) they will enter Key Stage 3 - a three year block of teaching, at the end of which they should have reached a particular level of skills, knowledge and understanding.

To give you an awareness of what your child will be learning during these years, we've put together a list of the subjects taught at KS3, along with a guide to the assessment your child will take at the end of Year 9.
