With the AA route planner you can search for a route in the UK using the following criteria:
- street
- postcode
- city
- place of interest (such as train station, airport or hospital)
You can also plan journeys across Europe or in Ireland by searching on the name of a town or city. There is an additional facility to set your search to avoid motorways, toll roads and congestion charging.
The route planner produces a map of your route, along with a set of step-by-step driving instructions, which you can print off or e-mail to a friend.
