This is a free, downloadable virtual globe program that maps the entire earth by pasting images obtained from aerial photography, satellite imagery and GIS over a 3D globe. Google Earth allows users to search for addresses in the UK, US and Canada, enter coordinates or simply use the mouse to browse to a location.

The majority of large cities may be viewed in high enough resolution to see individual houses, buildings and even cars. Although the degree of resolution available is usually based on the points of interest, most places can be viewed at approximately 15 meters of resolution or less.
