RAC Route Planner is a tool to allow users to plans their journey from a particular departure location to their destination along with any chosen stops in-between. The planner may be used for UK and pan-European journeys and offers the following features:

Searching

• Search locations by:
• Street and Town
• UK Postcode
• Airport, Station or Ferry port
• The choice of up to 5 locations the route should pass through
• The choice of journey type (fastest or shortest)
• The option to avoid toll roads or ferry crossings
• The choice of road type (avoid or use motorways)

Map and Route Planning Results

• Directions and route maps
• Estimated journey time
• Estimated distance in miles and kms
• The choice of interactive or static maps
• Step-by-step street level maps for the entire journey
• Choice of detailed or short descriptions of the route
• Ability to print out the route or e-mail it to a friend
