Going to a dinner party at a friend's house can be an interesting way of meeting new people and potential dates. This is particularly true if there are a number of singles attending; if there are just the two of you may feel that all eyes are on you for the evening watching to see how you'll react to each other.
If you do manage to find someone that you seem to 'click' with, try to be subtle so that the whole dinner party does not become engrossed in your every move. Discreetly pass your business card or mobile number to them and then just concentrate on chatting to the rest of the people at the table.
