Medium Coeli, MC or Zenith

The highest point above the horizon in the chart where the ecliptic crosses the local meridian which is always exactly opposite the IC. In an unequal house system the MC, one of the angles of a horoscope, forms the cusp of the tenth house. Commonly called Midheaven.
