Unemployment Compensation

by Edward Smith

If you feel you have been unfairly dismissed from your job you can in certain circumstances make a claim for compensation against your former employer.

You cannot make a claim for compensation if you are dismissed during any probationary period or under any contract where you have agreed to not claim unfair dismissal.

In all cases where you feel you have been dismissed unfairly, you should always seek advice from your solicitor and from the Citizen's Advice Bureau.
