How to apply to Cambridge University

You need to complete two forms - a Cambridge Application Form (return to Cambridge) and a UCAS application (return to UCAS) - both need to be in by 15 October.

Return your Cambridge Application Form (CAF) to the college of your choice at Cambridge. If you do not wish to select a college, you can make an open application by sending your form to the Cambridge Admissions Office (address above) and your form will be allocated to a college.

On your UCAS form, select Cambridge and one course. Include the appropriate campus code for the college you have chosen, or 9 for an open application. Return the form to UCAS by 15 October.

You may not apply to Oxford as well as Cambridge in the same year, unless you are an applicant for an organ award or an affiliated student. Forms and instructions on the completion of the CAF are available from the Cambridge Admissions Office, your own school or college, or any Cambridge college.

The Colleges

There are 29 undergraduate colleges. You can look up their profiles below.
