You may want to ask your dates something a little different from the run-of-the-mill 'So what do you do for a living?' type of question. Here are some ideas:
- What's your favourite word?
- If you could be someone else for a day, who would you be?
- What is your earliest childhood memory?
- If you could interview anyone living or dead, who would it be?
- What would be the title of your biography?
- If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
- What would be on the soundtrack to your life?
- If you couldn't do what you are doing for a living, what else would you do?
- What place do you want to visit most?
- If money wasn't an issue, what would you do with your time or where would you go?
- What would you put in a time capsule that someone might unearth in 100 years?
- They say Alexander the Great kept a dagger and a copy of the Iliad under his pillow. What would be under your pillow?
- What were your favourite cartoons?
- What's in the boot of your car at the moment? (Hopefully the answer won't be:"My ex"!)
