Interpreting Birthcharts

The birthchart is intended to present a complete picture of a person, and an astrologer's analysis of a chart will never be a definitive account, but an exploration of a many-sided image.

Understanding the unique roles of the planets, signs, houses and aspects is just the beginning. Interpreting a birthchart involves an overall fusion of all of the information present, much of which may be contradictory or confusing, and an astrologer will always use intuition as much as intellect in their interpretation of a birth chart.

The best way to learn is to practise with friends and family. If you decide to study astrology, it can become a tool for personal growth, helping to solve tricky personal problems. The beginner should always bear in mind that seemingly difficult parts of the chart will eventually give depth, endurance and positive potential to the character.
