One of the slower moving planets, taking about a year to traverse one sign of the Zodiac - forming a 12-year cycle. The energy from Jupiter is extensive but light. It is theoretically beneficial, but can also be of very little substance.

Jupiter gives us the desire to expand and to explore beyond our familiar culture, inspiring us to search for the truth and look for a greater understanding. Jupiterian people are usually brimming with positive feelings and new ideas, and luck is seen to be with them more than any other planetary type. An over emphasis of Jupiter can create arrogance and a feeling that they are above the law, and Jupiter's excesses may also lead to waste.
