Marrying in the Church of Scotland

Weddings within the Church of Scotland are very similar in both content and style to that of the Church of England, although the vows are slightly different, and the rings are not usually blessed.

However, the major difference is that Scottish law allows couples to be married anywhere - inside or outside a building, as long as the service is performed by an authorised minister.
