In the Free Churches (Methodist, Baptist, Congregational, etc) the question of the re-marriage of a divorced person is very much at the discretion of each particular minister. Whilst some of them firmly believe that the original contract is binding for life, others may consider that a broken marriage can be forgiven, and that a fresh start in church would be for the best.
As a result, you will need to consult with the minister to find out their view - some couples have approached more than one minister before finding one who is willing to marry them.
