What Does This All Cost Me

You've probably heard the expression "there's no such thing as a free lunch". To become part of a fund you will usually have to pay an initial charge. On top of this there are usually ongoing small charges that are taken from your investment each year. However it's not all bad news. To help keep more money in your pocket, many companies offer discounts on initial charges. The intitial and ongoing charges also vary from fund to fund, something to look out for when choosing which to invest in.

Okay, so there are some top benefits to be had from investing in funds (not least among them: you could make a great deal of money).

Right, that all seems crystal. How exactly do you get your hands on all those lovely funds?
