Sega Mega Drive 32X

An add-on to the Sega Mega Drive that allowed players to use dedicated 32 bit cartridge games that only played on the 32X/Mega Drive combination (rather than the 16-bit cartridges normally used in the Mega Drive).

The peripheral was intended as a short-term 'bridge' to the next generation of Sega console technology, the Saturn.
