Unaspected Planets

A planet that does not form any of the major aspects with another planet is said to be unaspected and functions on a level of pure energy. When a planet makes an aspect with another planet their combined energies form a new composite energy. Unaspected planets do not create new combined energies and can therefore manifest freely. The abundance of natural energy relating to a specific unaspected planet often dominates the birth chart, visibly expressing itself in a person's character.

Unaspected planets are not common and if one took account of the various minor aspects, the Ascendant and Midheaven and all the energy points of the birthchart through which planets make contact, they would probably not exist at all.

Unaspected Sun occurs most frequently among the personal planets, while unaspected Venus is six times less common. When unaspected planets occur in a birthchart, they should always be noted and observed closely as they are capable of changing the apparent structure of an individual's psyche.
