Cheat Code

A keyboard sequence which, when used, allows the player to bypass the normal limitations of a game. Typical cheats enable players to gain extra lives, infinite ammunition, access different stages or the ability to walk through walls. Some cheats are built into games, whilst others can only be accessed using devices such as the Game Shark.
