The Hot Water Cylinder

Insulating a hot water cylinder is simple and very cost-effective. A bare copper cylinder should be insulated with a jacket at least 80 mm thick, wrapped around the cylinder and secured with tape. If replacing a cylinder, choose a pre-insulated one - its insulation value will be greater.
