Anorexia Nervosa

A dangerous eating disorder in which the sufferer has an intense fear of looking fat, resulting in them avoiding food and losing excessive amounts of weight. The condition mainly affects adolescent girls. The underlying causes of anorexia nervosa are complex, but often include family problems and a rejection of adult sexuality.
