Angina Pectoris

A severe and constricting pain in the centre of the chest that may spread to the shoulders and jaws and down the left arm, caused by a lack of oxygen to the heart muscle. The pain normally starts on exercise and is relieved by rest. It is one of the warning signs that a heart attack may be imminent.
