Description: This single-family residence is split into two components. One incorporates the mechanical, storage, food preparation, dining, office, and guestroom. The other is dedicated to the clients sleeping and bathing quarters. The collision of the two creates a third zone; this interstitial space is used as the formal living area with the hearth traditionally set at its core. Sectional partitions become an integral device separating and adjoining crucial formal spaces for descriptive events.
