Daniel Alan David Jones, commonly known as Danny Jones (born March 12, 1986 in Bolton, Greater Manchester, England) is one of the lead vocalists and guitarists in the British pop band McFly, along with fellow band members Tom Fletcher, Dougie Poynter and Harry Judd. McFly rose to fame after former band Busted helped launch them by inviting them to tour in March 2004.

Danny entered McFly by luck. He went along to an audition in Manchester for the boy band V Thinking it was a guitar based band, (the auditions were being filmed by Tom Fletcher) Danny met Tom and the management after the audition.
