Soft Floor Tiles

Soft floor-tiles are the simplest form of floor covering to lay. As they are flexible and relatively thin, it's important to spend time making sure the floor is smooth and flat - covering floorboards with hardboard is essential to avoid ridges wearing through the tiles. When you set out the tiles, loose-lay the first rows to check that the edges are parallel with the walls.
